Job Title: Branch Manager
Location: Lagos

Job Description
- The Branch Manager will be responsible for driving business growth, overseeing loan processing, and ensuring the financial soundness of the branch’s credit portfolio.
- This role involves supervising subordinates, evaluating loan applications, mitigating risks, and fostering strong customer relationships.
- The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in microfinance lending, loan recovery, and risk management.
Responsibilities
Business Development & Loan Processing:
- Drive loan sales, ensuring high disbursement volumes while maintaining portfolio quality.
- Evaluate and process loan applications, ensuring compliance with credit policies.
- Conduct business and household visits for loan assessments.
- Assess customers’ financial eligibility and repayment feasibility.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and guarantors.
Credit & Risk Management:
- Ensure timely and full repayment of disbursed loans.
- Track loan performance, implement proactive recovery strategies, and minimize defaults.
- Monitor and manage the credit portfolio to maintain high-quality lending standards.
- Conduct due diligence on loan applicants and guarantors.
Branch Operations & Team Leadership:
- Supervise and mentor loan officers and other branch staff.
- Ensure operational efficiency and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Provide guidance on loan policies and financial literacy to customers.
- Set performance targets and ensure they are met or exceeded.
Requirements
- Minimum of a B.Sc./HND in Marketing, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in a reputable Microfinance Bank.
- Strong risk management skills with the ability to disburse and recover a minimum of N50 million monthly.
- Experience in micro and SME loan disbursement, with a track record of minimal defaults.

Job Title: Recovery Officer
Location: Marina, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Follow up on major debtors to resolve Loan repayment challenges before default.
- Working to repossess/recover Assets and properties of defaulting Loan Clients e.g; Bikes, Cars e.t.c..
- Monitor Loan Portfolio of the Bank for the purpose of resolving issues with NPL (Non-Performing Loans) and scaling down the overall
- Portfolio at Risk of the Bank.
- Carry out regular calls, site and follow up visits, to implement remedial strategies and action plans agreed with the Team Lead.
- Raise and tender Demand Notices to defaulting customers of the Bank
- Review all credit files for proper documentation and monitoring.
- Provide progress reports on interactions with Loan Customers in respect of Loan repayment status.
- Monitor and obtain background information and feedback on all accounts assigned to the Assets & Recovery Agencies to ensure
- Accounts to them are fully recovered.
- Monitoring and recovery of Past due obligations/Expired Loans in the Bank.
- Follow up on sale of securities deposited for collateral alongside the legal department after other remedial strategies have been exhausted.
- Preparation and recommendation of strategies for recoveries on major assigned accounts to the Team Lead.
- Preparation of Payment Vouchers to Business Partners for Loan repayment deduction and remittance.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 2 – 5 years experience.
