Job Title: Accountant III

Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Contract

Responsibilities

  • Provides key business information and analysis to business to enable expense, headcount and volumetric targets to be achieved and maintained.
  • Monitors general ledger entries and processing streams to ensure the reliability of general ledger information Prepares and analyzes financialperformance reports.
  • Collaborates with department leaders in the development of capital, expense and personnel plans for forecasting and budgeting.
  • Provides expertise on how to use financial data, the application of accounting guidelines, standards, procedures and policies.
  • Ensures accounting practices are applied to analysis in an ethical and effective manner. Minimal work direction needed, highly skilled and knowledgeable to the position.
  • This position might be described as Accounting Professional or Accountant Expert who, on top of level 1 and 2, can potentially supervise others, is expert in the field and have extensive experience in this area of work.

Skills and qualification

Job Title: Machinery Engineer / Specialist I

Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Contract

Main Functions

  • Evaluate and comment on discipline engineering work performed both internally and by Contractors and sub- contractors to ensure that work is being executed in accordance with Company specifications, company standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitates effective execution of discipline engineering and design routines that align with the team’s goals, objectives, and procedures. Assures accurate and timely communication among the team and other company Functions on discipline engineering activities, progress, and issues. In addition to technical ability, they should demonstrate sound communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and coordinate discipline engineering technical work products
  • Coordination and communication of various issues among the company’s and contractor’s engineering team that affect the discipline engineering design, safety, and regulatory compliance of the work
  • Evaluate / comment work performed by the Contractor and sub-contractors to insure that the work is being executed in accordance with Company specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements. Includes review of discipline design drawings and documents
  • Identify and assess deviations to Contract Technical Specifications and regulatory requirements; ensure that such deviations will be processed according to Company procedures; maintains Deviation Control Log.
  • Steward discipline engineering queries from the Contractor and sub-contractors as well as technical information requests
  • Keep Lead Engineer or Engineering Manager informed of discipline engineering progress, deviations, and execution concerns
  • Participate in discipline engineering reviews at Contractor’s and subcontractor’s locations
  • Drives and promotes capital efficiency in engineering design
  • Support internal engineering general interest or Global Practice initiatives as requested by Supervisor.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering specialty, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Personnel to possess minimum of 2 years’ work experience onboard tanker, FSO/FPSO as marine engineer with minimum qualification of OOW Eng COC and associated mandatory certificates.
  • Broad knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria
  • Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities

Job Title: Rig Supervisor III

Location: Nigeria

Main Functions

  • Represents the company on a rig site to support the safe and efficient execution of well plans.
  • Is the primary contact for rig and third-party personnel to ensure logistics for personnel, equipment, and services are appropriately organized and managed.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for communicating expectations regarding safety, security, health, and environment; provides guidance and supports managing Safety, Security, Health, and Environment (SSHE) events.
  • Responsible for communicating OI Systems (OI) expectations on the rig site.
  • Monitors rig operations to provide feedback and input to the rig contractor to ensure well control procedures are properly followed and emergency situations are appropriately managed.
  • Responsible for ensuring that safety, operational, environmental, security, and other drills are conducted on-site at specified frequencies.
  • Responsible for ensuring drilling and completion procedures are followed as approved and utilizes the management of change processes if changes are required.
  • Orders and organizes logistics for services and equipment necessary to conduct drilling and completion operations efficiently.
  • Supports onsite surveillance requirements for the operation in areas such as kick detection, abnormal pressure detection, torque and drag, mud properties, and solids control efficiency.
  • Responsible for the generation of accurate and adequate operations reports.
  • Interfaces with engineering and geology to ensure understanding of well objectives and procedural requirements.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor`s / Master`s Degree in any relevant field with 10-26 years work experience.
  • Experience in rig supervisory or rig leadership roles for drilling and completion operations.
  • Experience working for a major operator or drilling contractor.
  • Hold current certification for Well Control.

Job Title: Materials Lead III

Location: Nigeria

Main Functions

  • The Materials Lead manages and expedites flow of materials, equipment, parts, and assemblies between internal and external departments and sites, according to delivery and shipping schedules and project priorities, and compiles and maintains computerized records.

Task and Responsibilities
In addition to all Level 1 and 2 tasks and responsibilities, Level 3:

  • Oversees and ensures the compilation and maintenance manual or computerized records, such as material inventory, delivery, shipping and storage reports, and status and location of materials.
  • Monitor and oversee the transport of materials from one department to another.
  • Manages and ensures arrangement for repair and/or assembly of company-provided materials, equipment or parts.

Job Title: Drilling Offshore Installation (OI) Project Advisor

Location: Nigeria

Main Functions

  • The Drilling Offshore Installation (OI) Project Advisor is responsible for supporting drilling operations regarding Safety, Security, Health, and Environment (SSHE) issues.
  • The Advisor serves as a contact for SSHE issues related to Drilling Project-based activities, executing initiatives, developing and executing programs/plans, and responding to requests and questions from the drill team.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Provide Company SSHE representation for the project, in addition to rig sites and rig move and transport operations ensuring full communication of concerns, activities and initiatives
  • Develop and maintain site orientation/induction program
  • Develop programs, plans, initiatives, e.g. Operations SSHE Plan, Drill Team SSHE Leadership Forums, Site Stewardship Plans, Emergency Management Plan, etc.
  • Monitor contractor/service partner compliance with all Company Drilling SSHE requirements and specifically the Drill Team/Rig “Operations Safety Plan”, advising contractor/service partner and Operations Superintendents of SSHE issues
  • Conduct oi System (oi) Compliance audits
  • Provide support to rig sites/locations in the event of an incident with regards to reporting, advice on mitigation and prevention methods, etc.
  • Develop and maintain safety related training for contractor work crews
  • Facilitate regular SSHE inspection, assessments and audit on-site in accordance with established Company SSHE programs or as requested by the site team
  • Monitor the safety performance of the sites and report non-conformances
  • Monitor Company safety awareness, recognition and incentive programs
  • Review and coordinate site contractor’s SSHE plans
  • Participate as required in investigation and follow-up of incidents/accidents
  • Facilitate the Drill Team SSHE safety steering committees
  • Identify trends to develop programs and/or initiatives to promote an injury free work environment
  • Conduct rig inspections with Operations Superintendent and Rig Safety Advisor
  • Continually bring to the forefront of all employees, the Company Vision and how it can be achieved
  • Attend all Drill Team daily/weekly SSHE meetings.
  • Relentlessly, aggressively, and proactively address any safety trends and/or safety issues that poses or could pose a risk to the workface.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of Drilling operations/processes and safety regulations

Job Title: Project Engineer III – Projects (Tech)

Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Contract
Work Schedule: Standard – 5 days on / 2 days off – 5 days on / 2 days off

Main Function

  • Performs engineering design evaluations and works to complete projects within budget and scheduling restraints. Reviews industry policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance.

  • Participates in Invitation to Tender (ITT) development, bid evaluation and contractor selection
  • Participates in identification & sourcing long lead equipment, assuring Front End Engineering Design (FEED) contractor support until equipment is assigned to the contractor
  • Coordinates development of EMCAPS (ExxonMobil Capital Project Management System) Gate 3 deliverables
  • Coordinates development of Functional Interaction Plan
  • Coordinates project issues resolution process
  • Coordinates change requests & endorses change authorization
  • Responsible for the completion of the assigned work scope consistent with the Project Objectives
  • Engages Project Team and functional resources to verify that the design & construction is consistent with project specifications & standards
  • Serves as interface between Project Team & Contractor
  • Ensures smooth transitions between project stages
  • Leads Project Management Team (PMT) in applying Project Management Systems

Skills and Qualifications

  • BS or MS Degree in the Engineering field
  • Experience in multiple assignments in engineering, construction, and project management and controls activities
