We are a Tech and media Startup that will begin our journey in January 2025 with a confidential outsourced SAAS and ERP Project for EU and US markets. Job Title: Full-Stack Software Engineer

Location: Nigeria 
Employment Type: Full-time

Description

  • We’re looking for Full Stack Software Engineer, who knows what technology is and where it is going.
  • You will work directly with our product team to build and scale software features.

Responsibilities

  • Take high level ideas and transforming them into live products
  • A desire to build an engaging consumer experience
  • Implement and test your code with unit and integration tests, and contribute to our automation infrastructure.
  • Build features for all parts of web applications, its libraries, widgets and custom features
  • Work cross-functionally across engineering, product, and design teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Minimum 4 years of work experience
  • Proficiency in backend engineering, with an understanding of web stack programming, from schema design to building services and integrating them in user-facing interfaces
  • Independence, self-direction and experience owning complete products and features
  • Experience developing consumer facing features for millions of consumers
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases and Lucene/Solr
  • Comfort working on fast paced, data-driven projects.

Salary
N400,000 – N600,000 monthly.

Responsibilities

  • Track CEO’s commitments, goals, projects, tasks and deadlines
  • Ensure Operations are effectively delegated, re-prioritized, or addressed, navigating demands and time pressure
  • Organise and attend select meetings, take notes, capture action items, and ensure follow through
  • Anticipate and address problems proactively
  • Represent the CEO in internal and external communications
  • Draft and edit correspondence that is often sensitive and confidential
  • Manage administrative and operational issues
  • Maintain the CEO’s calendar; ensure his time is allocated to the highest priorities
  • Prepare expense reports
  • General ADHOC duties; including ordering items and organising the office
  • Support partner’s relationship development

Financial Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing staffing levels to meet service, operational and financial objectives.
  • Maximise revenue opportunities through analysing sales figures and effective forecasting.

  • Manage budgets and financial plans and control expenditure.
  • Prepare daily/weekly and monthly reports and meet deadlines.
  • Monitor staff payroll and manage wages.

Characteristics and Qualification of an Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor’s Degree in either Law, Business Administration or Business Management
  • Strong work tenure: minimum 2 year of experience supporting Executives, including experience in Operations
  • Passion for results and mission

  • Proven ability to use outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to build strong relationships and negotiate challenging situations.

  • Familiarity with machine learning or artificial intelligence technologies.
