Job Title: Recruitment Officer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

  • SPIE Global Services Energy is currently looking for a Recruitment Coordinator to join its work force in Nigeria.

Mission

  • In close collaboration with the originator of the need and the Chief Operating Officer, the Recruitment Coordinator pilots and implements the recruitment, from the issuing of the need to the integration, on the positions that are entrusted to him/her

Main activities

  • Based on a validated Recruitment Authorization Request (DAR)create offers and publish jobs postings via the recruitment software.
  • Clarify the need and the context with the internal applicant.
  • Source potential candidates via all recruitment channels CV libraries on job boards and specialized sites, approach via social networks, school relations, etc.
  • Sort the applications, pre qualify them and propose them to the applicant and/or the operational HR of the perimeter.
  • Carry out HR interviews (profile analysis, identification of skills, motivations, potential, etc.).
  • Solicit candidates for aptitude, technical knowledge, personality and English language tests and report on them.
  • Write qualitative reports for each selected candidate.
  • Follow up on recruitments with the help of dashboards and reporting and the recruitment tool.
  • Ensure regular reporting to operational requester and HR.
  • Contribute to the animation of social networks, participate in the creation of media based on the HR communication kit provided by the HQ.
  • Maintain the information in the recruitment software archive offers, make negative responses, finalize recruitments.
  • Promote SPIE’s image on social networks and forums.
  • Work closely with the HR Manager in the recruitment process.
  • Monitor the competition and new recruitment methods.
  • Communicate to other subsidiaries the profiles corresponding to their activities and expertise.
  • The holder of this post must have the following qualifications:
  • An extensive in sourcing, basic knowledge in social law (related to recruitment), experience in recruitment software, use of job boards, digital recruitment tools is mandatory

Job Title: Telecom Field Support Engineer M/F

Job description

  • SPIE Global Services Energy is currently looking for Telecom Field Support Engineer to join its work force in Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities: 

QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment)

  • Ensures HSE policy fulfillment during his activities
  • Establishes and maintains a strong safety culture in line with Company HSE Requirements and Rules
  • Is responsible to ensures compliance with HSE Legislation, Company Standards and Procedures under his area of responsibility to ensure employees safety, legislative compliance, and responsible environment attitude
  • Ensures compliance with Operating Procedures & Guidelines with the asset to ensure Process Safety, Operational Safety and Plan Integrity
  • Contributes to achieve and improve HSE targets
  • Performs the updating of technical documentation.
  • Gives his contribution in Hazard Analyses, incident investigations, Root Cause Failure Analyses, process incidents advising his hierarchy about HSE issues and proposing corrective solutions.

Main Activities

  • Follow up the immediate resolution of critical and challenging system faults within the agreed MTTR.
  • Liaise with OEM for issues bordering on level 3 support on the equipment or network.
  • Carry out analysis of routine maintenance report with the aim of proactively implementing any recommended corrective action.
  • Implementation of major equipment relocation, equipment installation, network reengineering, reconfiguration, and commissioning.
  • Carry out corrective maintenance on telecom systems.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance on telecom systems.
  • Implement the relocation of equipment in each location extending to the district.
  • Installation of equipment as specified in the scope of service.
  • Manage device and equipment address plan related to radio and transmission equipment.
  • Keep up to update all telecom engineering documents.
  • Resolve level 1 and 2 issues on the radio and transmission equipment and network.
  • Implementation of any other technical duty as may be assigned by the CNM, SSE or Company.
  • Carry out level 1 intervention on the Data and Voice network.

Profile

The holder of this post must have the following qualifications:

  • HND or bachelor’s degree in electronics, software or IT engineering.
  • A master’s degree provides an added advantage.
  • 5+ years relevenat technical knowledge and experience

Professional Certificates are an added advantage

  • Cisco Certified Specialist – Enterprise Core (CCNP)
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA)

  • In order to participate to our growth of Sub-Saharan Africa Business Unit, we are
  • looking for OJT Electrical Trainer .
  • This position is located ONSHORE in PORT HARCOURT with some OFFSHORE missions on the FPSO in ROTATIONAL MODE 8*3.
  • 7d/7 if offshore, 6d/7 if onshore

We are primarily looking for a candidate who demonstrates the following skills:

  • Deliver theoretical and OJT programmes for electrical technicians, supervisors, specialists and graduate engineers to enable a common high level of competence.
  • Responsible for the implementation and compliance of the Electrical Engineering and Maintenance Team Competence assurance system across the Spie business in all assets.
  • Support line managers in identifying needs and ensuring these needs are met in a consistent and cost effective manner.

Principal responsibilities shall include:

  • Deliver theoretical and OJT programmes for electrical technicians, supervisors, specialists and graduate engineers.
  • Develop and prepare all course teaching materials and visual aids liaising as required with the Recruitment Team. This will also include any course reference materials and/or student workbooks.
  • Maintain electronic and hard copy of all individual training records and to provide accurate reports as and when required.
  • Provide the client with detailed student progress reports containing the
    assessment, level of competence, attendance and behaviors of the trainees.
  • Liaise with equipment vendors and any additional specialist instrumentation suppliers to ensure that teaching materials support the knowledge required for a trainee to develop satisfactory workplace competence.
  • Conduct instrument and control overview training program for production personnel and others requiring a basic presentation on the plants operational control features.
  • Design appropriate courses for the trainees and to schedule their release to the operational plant to enable them to quickly develop and utilize their new skills on the job.
  • Conduct refresher training courses and additional remedial program if requested

Profile

We are primarily looking for a candidate who demonstrates the following skills:

  • You have extensive experience working in the Oil & Gas Services industry as an Electrical Trainer.
  • Good knowledge & usage of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
