FairMoney is building the leading mobile bank for emerging markets. We started with a digital microcredit application on Android, and currently roll out additional financial services (current account, savings, debit card) while expanding the product to Western Africa and South-East Asia.

Job Title: Android Engineer

Our technical stack:

  • Our customer-facing product is an Android application;
  • It communicates with a Ruby on Rails or Go-lang backend (sidekiq, rspec);
  • Our ML pipeline is an API-flask (Python);
  • We are hosted on AWS: we use Kubernetes, SNS, SQS, Lambdas, an RDS Aurora Mysql and PostgreSQL databases as well as DynamoDB, S3, Kinesis (data-stream, firehose);
  • Prototype of a data warehouse on GCP (GCS, BigQuery, Cloud Composer);
  • We run our CI/CD pipeline with GitHub Actions.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional experience in Android native development.
  • 4+ years Coding in Kotlin/Java
  • 2+ years experience in pair programming, TDD, code reviews
  • 2+ years Unit Tests, Instrumented Tests, and End to End Tests
  • Ability to create clean, efficient and high-quality code
  • You are familiar with multi-module apps
  • You are comfortable with Clean architecture and using Coroutines (or RxJava).

Job Title: Senior Growth Manager

Description

  • As the Senior Growth Manager for all Business Units (Nigerian – Banking and Lending), you will be part of a team that plays a critical role in managing FairMoney’s ability to grow in the market.
  • You will be accountable for designing the customer acquisition strategy via Paid Social, SEO, PPC, Affiliates, and Display.
  • You will work closely with the Product Team to ensure the optimization of new user conversion and also with the CRM and Operations team to ensure the delivery of key customer success metrics.
  • The Growth Team at FairMoney functions at the intersection of product, operations, marketing, and risk. Its work is imperative to drive the top line of the Business Units.

Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Growth Strategy: Develop and own the growth strategy for acquiring and retaining both new and existing customers.
  • Digital Channel Management: Oversee digital channels to ensure optimal ROI, identifying key metrics to drive company growth, including acquisition, activation, and engagement.
  • Metric Monitoring: Continuously monitor and enhance key growth metrics and funnels.
  • Customer Acquisition Strategy: Define and implement strategies for channel and segment-specific customer acquisition.
  • Agency Collaboration: Lead digital planning sessions with external agencies to support acquisition plans and achieve objectives.
  • Marketing Operations: Build and refine robust processes for marketing operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with 5+ years of experience in performance marketing and liaising with third parties, preferably in a Fintech, Banking, Payments, E-commerce, or Tech environment.
  • Proven experience in managing and optimizing budgets effectively to meet key objectives, deadlines, and targets.
  • A strong track record of success in digital customer acquisition.
  • Well-versed in most, if not all, forms of digital channels, demonstrating strong analytical skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a skill set in quantitative analysis, and experience with mobile marketing analytics and attribution platforms.
  • Experience with app marketing.
  • Detail-oriented with proven execution skills.
  • Passionate about growth strategy, marketing, and customer success.
  • Strong communication skills; fluent in English.

  • The role is to develop new service functionality for our iOS application that powers the interaction between our Mobile-first Microfinance bank and our worldwide customers. Functionality that acts to maximize customer experience and utility.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and building mobile applications for Apple’s iOS platform.
  • Collaborating with the design team to define app features.
  • Ensuring quality and performance of the application to specifications.
  • Fixing application bugs before the final release.
  • Publishing application on App Store.
  • Maintaining the code and atomization of the application.
  • Designing and implementing application updates.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional experience in iOS native development.
  • Proficient in Swift or similar language

  • As an FX Trade Associate at Fairmoney, you will be responsible for managing FX margins and rates for our B2B Cross-Border Payments trades.
  • This role involves overseeing positive positions and maximizing trade margins, contributing to the overall profitability of the business.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Fintechs, treasury management, FX rates, and currency risk management tools, alongside a proven ability to handle large block trades and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Execute and Match Trades:

  • Handle large block trades within the market, ensuring efficient execution and matching with clients’ needs.

Develop and Contribute to OTC Sales Strategies:

  • Play an active role in developing OTC sales strategies, guiding and driving the team on the best approach to implementing these strategies.

Regulatory Knowledge and Compliance:

  • Bring familiarity with deliverable FX market regulations and compliance requirements (preferred), ensuring all activities are in line with regulatory standards.
