Job Title: Contact Centre Doctor / Medical Advisor

Location: Nigeria

Job Description

  • To maintain a high and consistent level of service delivery for pre-authorisation requests. To provide medical advisory services to Customers or Providers across all channels of interaction.
  • Ensuring that every Customer encounter with our Customer Service Assistants or Provider network continuously generates positive Customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for pre-authorization request administration and management within the Contact Centre team.
  • Maintain and develop internal documents to support the Pre-authorization desk within the Contact Center team.
  • Review a subset of the pre-authorization requests received across all channels of interaction.
  • Assess details of the pre-authorization requests received across all channels based on the internal quality standards (i.e., authorized plan benefits, KPIs and score grid for the sub team).
  • Accompany assessment with meaningful, constructive, and thoroughly documented performance feedback.
  • Complete special projects as required from time to time.
  • Escalate Intensive care and mismanaged cases to the Case Management Team for evaluation or further action.
  • Take over critical condition and cases referred by the Pre-authorization desk, educating the patients about their conditions, and providing treatment options.
  • Complete special projects as required from time to time.
  • Assess details of the pre-authorization requests received across all channels based on the internal quality standards (i.e., authorized plan benefits, KPIs and score grid for the sub team).
  • Discuss and explain performance feedback to Customer Service Assistants (Nurses) individually and regularly at monthly meetings.

Role Qualification
Academic/Professional:

  • MBBS Degree from a reputable Tertiary Institution.

Work Experience:

  • 3 – 5 years of direct work experience in medical advisory services.

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Ability to take over, handle and follow through on highly sensitive work-related issues via appropriate channel.
  • Strong written communication skills and presentation skills.
  • Ability to use MS office tools (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Job Title: Team Member, Investment Operations and Fund Accounts

Location: Nigeria

Description 

  • Responsible for net asset valuation, corporate actions, security price updates, financial statements, escalation and resolution of issues, and other ad hoc reporting for funds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare timely and accurate net assets valuation, return reports, distributions, and other fund accounting output for subsequent review by the Team Lead/Head, Investment Operations and Fund Accounts.
  • Research, as assigned, certain securities in Fund portfolios for the purpose of ensuring proper accounting treatment (such as the nature of distributions, original issue discounts, and international valuations) and compliance with SEC, tax, and prospectus restrictions and limitations.
  • Stay abreast of regulatory reform and impact on the business; and helps to ensure the business is best positioned to respond.
  • Identify exceptions and problems affecting accounting records and prices, communicating same to Team Lead/Head, Investment Operations and Fund Accounts, and assisting in their resolution.
  • Ensure timely settlement of all wire transfers (inward or outwards) and related to investments.
  • Assist, as assigned, in preparing audit schedules, compliance reports, financial statements, or other reports.

Role Qualifications
Academic / Professional:

  • BSc. Degree from a reputable Tertiary Institution and preferably from a numerate field (Sciences, Engineering, Economics or Finance)
  • Diploma in Investment Operations (CISI UK) or/and CFA level 1 is an advantage.
  • Relevant postgraduate (MSc, MBA) and/or professional qualification (ACA/ACCA etc) would be an added advantage.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year work experience.

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Knowledge of the financial service industry with a preference for the Insurance Industry/Investment Business.
  • Superior analytical & critical thinking skills; ability to make good decisions when faced with complex data.
  • Advanced business writing and presentation skills.
  • Advanced computing skill.

Job Title:  Provider Manager

Locations: Nigeria

Job Description

  • To build and contract a network of Providers for the Company. To implement the provider network management strategy in Lagos and the South-West region. To manage the relationship between the Company and its Providers to ensure a seamless enrolee experience.

Responsibilities

  • Receive requests and recommendations for provider sign-up based on certain criteria.
  • Signing up high-quality providers who deliver healthcare services at a reasonable cost.
  • Regular physical visits to providers weekly and monthly to foster good relationship.
  • Analyse provider’s performance and share feedback with provider with recommendations

  • Synergy with the claims unit to ensure prompt payment of claims.
  • Oversee the smooth running of the various providers within the states within the region
  • Liaising regularly with the HMO coordinators and medical directors of the hospital to ensure good rapport and to gain trust.
  • Bi-annual hospital quality assurance check (physical visits)

Qualifications

  • MBBS/Degree from a reputable Tertiary Institution.
  • Relevant postgraduate (MPH, MSc, MBA) and/or professional qualification would be an added advantage.
  • 3 to 5 years professional in related position.

  • Knowledge of HMO Industry/Health Business.
  • Customer Service, Writing, Problem Solving and Presentation Skills.
  • Strong aptitude in decision-making, time management and problem solving.
