- This unit ensures that the UAV’s communication systems arereliable, secure, and capable of supporting real-time data exchange, which is essential for mission control, monitoring, and data processing.
Responsibilities
- Configure the network infrastructure for communication between UAVs and ground control
- Install and maintain communication equipment like radios, antennas, and data modems.
- Ensure reliable transmission of telemetry, video feeds, and mission data between UAV and ground stations.
- Implement encryption and security measures to protect communication from unauthorized access.
- Resolve network issues affecting communication, such as signal loss or interference.
- Manage bandwidth to optimize performance, especially for high-bandwidth tasks like live streaming.
- Monitor network performance in real-time to ensure smooth communication during UAV missions.Regularly update and maintain network infrastructure, including software and hardware upgrades.
- Collaborate with other teams to integrate communication systems with other UAV subsystems

Job Description
- The Production Technician Unit in UAV manufacturing is responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate assembly of components, systems integration, and overall production processes.
- This unit works to support various stages of UAV production, from assembly to testing, ensuring that quality standards are met and that each UAV is built to specification.
Responsibilities
- Assemble UAV components, including airframes, motors, propellers, sensors, wiring, and avionics systems.
- Inspect incoming parts and materials for quality and conformity to specifications.
- Integrate electrical, mechanical, and avionics systems into the UAV, ensuring proper alignment and fitment.
- Perform wiring and soldering tasks to connect UAV components and subsystems.

- The Electronics Technician installs, tests, troubleshoots and maintains electronic systems and components for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This role requires a solid understanding of electronics and UAV-specific systems to ensure proper functionality throughout the assembly process.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop UAV electronic circuits like flight controllers and communication modules, and integrate sensors (GPS, IMUs, cameras) and actuators (motors, servos) into the control system.
- Assemble and install electronic components such as PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards), wiring, connectors, and sensors into UAV frames
- Conduct rigorous testing and troubleshooting of electronic systems, including power systems, avionics, and control boards, to verify functionality.
- Load and configure firmware on UAV flight controllers and other electronic subsystems.
- Calibrate electronic systems for accurate data collection and system performance (e.g., sensor calibration for IMUs, GPS units, and altimeters).
- Perform routine inspections and quality control checks on all electronic components and assemblies as well as Ensure all electronics meet industry standards and specifications for safety and performance.

Job Title: Satellite Systems Technician (UAV Production Facility)
Location: Nigeria
Key Responsibilities
- Integrate satellite communication (Satcom) systems into UAVs, ensuring proper connectivity for data transmission, remote control, and real-time communications; install satellite antennas, transceivers, and other communication hardware on UAVs.
- Integrate and calibrate GPS and other satellite-based navigation systems (e.g., GNSS) into the UAV’s avionics for accurate positioning and flight control and ensureseamless communication between the UAV’s navigation systems and flight controllers.
- Conduct in-depth testing of satellite communication and GPS systems to verify signal integrity, transmission range, and real-time data communication.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to satellite communication systems, GPS malfunctions, or signal dropouts; Diagnose problems in hardware or software related to satellite systems, including antennas, transceivers, receivers, and related components
- Calibrate satellite communication systems to ensure they meet required operational standards (e.g., signal strength, data transfer rate); configure UAV systems to optimize satellite link reliability and bandwidth usage.
- Update and maintain satellite system firmware, including GPS receivers and satellite communication modules.
Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience working with satellite communication systems, GPS, or navigation systems, ideally in aerospace, UAV, or telecommunications industries.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in integrating and configuring satellite communication and GPS navigation systems. ○ Familiarity with UAV communication protocols (e.g., telemetry, SATCOM, UHF/VHF radio systems).
- Experience with signal testing tools (e.g., spectrum analysers, signal generators) and GPS troubleshooting tools
- Understanding of GNSS and other positioning technologies used in UAVs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with satellite system testing, including signal testing and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with satellite antennas (e.g., parabolic, phased array) and their integration into UAV systems.
- Knowledge of UAV-specific flight control software or payload management systems.
- Experience working with RF systems, antennas, and other telecommunications hardware.
