Job Title: Product Manager – Business

Job Description
- We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Product Manager to own the challenge of building and scaling Business Banking at Kuda.
- Our goal is to make Kuda Business Banking the go-to solution for entrepreneurs, small businesses, and growing companies across Nigeria.
- In this role, you will be responsible for defining our strategy for growth, identifying and addressing the needs of different customer groups, and ensuring that the team builds products that truly delight our business customers.
- You will champion customer outcomes, drive product decisions, and help empower our cross-functional team to deliver meaningful financial products to small business owners.
- You will work on the strategy, execution, and delivery of our business banking products, ensuring that they solve the most important customer problems.
- You will collaborate with the Senior Product Manager for Business Banking, as well as engineering, design, compliance, and many other teams to deliver a cohesive experience that changes the way businesses think about finance.
Responsibilities
Define & Execute Product Strategy:
- Develop and execute a product roadmap that scales Kuda Business Banking to thousands of businesses across Africa.
- Identify significant user pain points or opportunities and define solutions that meet their needs.
- Set clear goals, priorities, and metrics to evaluate product success and iterate accordingly.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with engineering, design, risk, and other stakeholders to coordinate dependencies and manage risks associated with product launches.
- Partner with risk and compliance teams to mitigate any risks tied to new features, and ensure that regulatory requirements are met.
- Constantly align plans with internal teams to unblock development and communicate effectively with Kuda customers.
Feature Development:
- Drive features from definition through to release—coordinating across dependencies to move ideas from concept to implementation.
- Prioritize the work that genuinely solves user problems, delivering MVPs when appropriate and iterating quickly based on user feedback.
- Manage the backlog, ensuring features are delivered in a fast-paced and efficient manner.
Metrics & Performance Tracking:
- Define key metrics, monitor product performance, and ensure features achieve intended business and customer outcomes.
- Gather customer feedback and market insights to refine product strategy and continually enhance the product offering.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in product management, preferably with exposure to API products or developer-facing products.
- Familiarity with API technologies, architectures, and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.

Job Title: Direct Sales Agent

Role Overview
- As a Direct Sales Agent, you will play a pivotal role in driving Kuda’s growth objectives through proactive sales efforts, effective relationship-building, and unwavering commitment to compliance and customer satisfaction.
- Prospect and generate leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Actively market Kuda’s array of financial products, including personal & business banking, loans, and POS terminals, to prospective customers within the designated territory.
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets by acquiring new customers and expanding customer base through persuasive techniques and a deep understanding of the bank’s offerings.
- Negotiate pricing and terms of sale to close deals and achieve sales targets according to the company’s pricing.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients.
- Ensure thorough compliance with all bank policies and regulatory requirements, including KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering).
