Job Title: Manager – Fixed Income and FX Structure Finance

Mission

To provide support in the management of MTNN’s excess cash in the fixed income space in order to preserve cash value, optimize yield and provide sufficient liquidity for the funding of crucial obligations of the business and provide Financial Advisory and management of MTNN’s foreign currency, demand exposure, and settlement of FX-indexed obligation to preserve value, support CAPEX rollout, settle Fx obligations and protect the Business from exchange rate volatilities.

Description

Lead the implementation and oversight of policy and governance frameworks, procedures, practices, and standards to ensure quality, effective forex risk management and regulatory compliance.
Source, negotiate, and enter in competitive and structured Trade contract for the purchase of foreign currency.
Proactively monitor foreign currency exchange rates and other exposures relevant to the Company.
Create mitigation structure for curtailing FX volatilities within the Bond Approved limits to protect balance sheet from currency volatility.
Lead the implementation and oversight of policy and governance frameworks, procedures, practices, and standards to ensure quality, effective forex risk management and regulatory compliance.
Define counterparty risk exposure limit for Banks based on defined financial and risk criteria.
Update the Investment Policy Statement and asset allocation matrix as required and especially in line with changing business and market factors.
Develop trading strategies on fixed income based on market fundamentals and technical analysis.
Trade fixed income securities via secure trading platform.
Collate daily bank indicative quotes on fixed income securities to aid investment decisions.
Provide subject matter expertise and support on the import trade process with special attention to Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) regulatory requirements.
Analyse challenges around Forex exposure and liquidity and build solutions leveraging experience and subject matter knowledge.
Contribute towards strengthening compliance with and knowledge of CBN regulations and forex solutions across the Business.
Build and maintain effective relationship with the Company’s bankers to stay informed on solutions that add value to the MTN business.
Find commercially acceptable structures with partners within a VUCA global FX market.

Education

First degree in Accounting, Economics, or any Finance related discipline.
Fluent in English
ACI dealership certificate
Part qualification/Membership of a professional financial management/accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, Level 2 CFA)

Experience:

6-13 years’ experience in an area of specialization; with experience working with others.
Experience in Dealing in Instruments, Fixed Income Dealing.
FX structuring to preserve value from Volatilities.
Experience from International Banking Organization
Extensive knowledge in Macro-Economic Analysis and Research.
Must have strong understanding of the Nigerian banking industry, currency control regulations, currency solutions (FX hedge instruments), and import trade finance, process, and requirements.
Experience working in a medium organization.
Experience in good accounting practices and the Nigerian policy environment.
Up-to-date knowledge of the foreign exchange market and exchange control compliance.

Job Title: Senior Lead – Operational Audit

Responsibilities

Plan, lead, and execute operational audits in accordance with audit standards and frameworks (e.g., IIA, COSO).

Assist the manager in the execution of process and programme audit plans, in order to ensure that processes and systems comply with company policies and procedures as well as statutory and regulatory policies covering processes and controls for program assurance.

Description

Ensure continuous liaison with External Solicitors for regular updates, compliance with procedural rules of court, stipulated time limits for actions, etc. to minimize the cost and adverse effect of litigation.
Review legal cases, petitions and internal matters requiring legal input /perspective, consult with all relevant parties, advise on case/petition/legal related matter, provide recommendation on course of action and effectively take appropriate and approved action in accordance with the rules and regulations of MoMoPSB.
Draft legal agreements and review all relevant documentation supporting contracts for authenticity and validity, reviewing commercial agreements and documentation of transactions.
Conduct proactive prevention of litigation, ensuring Legal processes and services are effective and efficient in line with defined and approved design and rules.
Administer controls to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and effectively integrate ethics, compliance and preventive law efforts, ensuring MoMoPSB activities are compliant with laid down laws and governing regulations/statutes.

Job Title: Engineer – Core Network Planning

Description

Define the optimal network topology for the mobile and fixed core network platforms and the connectivity of network elements to meet the promised grade of service.
Execute prompt provisioning of network capacity as required for all mobile and fixed network elements, features, and protocols.
Plan and design the network architecture to optimally serve the growth of the mobile and fixed core network in terms of traffic, subscribers, and value-added services.
Optimize the mobile and IMS, Fixed core network elements to ensure the KPI’s are within acceptable threshold e.g Pload, Signaling and traffic routes.
Maintain a standardized network numbering and element naming convention.
Conduct analysis of network model outputs and traffic patterns to evaluate the model and propose a solution if necessary.
Review new solution design documents, NFV, SDN, and IMS design, and how it integrates with the existing CS Core network.
Review existing architecture and advice on optimal design based on identified gaps.
Supporting the business in delivering special products and solutions.
Ensure management of the switch floor plan to meet stakeholders needs.
Manage the evolution of the CS Core Network and IMS Network to place MTN in a position to effectively compete in the challenging telecoms environment.
Interface with Marketing, business development groups for Minutes of Use forecast to dimension Cs Core capacity planning
Coordinate the efforts, inputs, and outputs from internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient Circuit Switch Core Network design and IMS Network capacity availability on both legacy and cloud infrastructure.

Education:

First degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer Engineering or equivalent.

Experience:

3-7 years’ experience which includes:
Experience working in a telecoms, IT or related service organization.
Experience in GSM, EDGE, WCDMA, HSDPA, HSPA, LTE & 5G Networks.
Technical experience in planning, design and working with core network nodes such MSC, MGW, UDM, IMS, and other Circuit Switch Core network platforms
