Job Title: Senior Estate Surveyor (Management)

Location: Nigeria

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the management of large, complex, or high-value property portfolios.
  • Developing and implementing property management strategies to maximize asset value and income.
  • Managing budgets, financial reports, and client accounts.
  • Conducting property inspections, identifying maintenance needs, and implementing repairs.
  • Negotiating and managing contracts with tenants, contractors, and suppliers.

Qualifications

Job Title: Junior Legal Counsel

Location: Nigeria

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the perfection and registration of mortgage and land title documents, ensuring all processes comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence on property documents to verify ownership, identify potential risks, and provide recommendations to mitigate any legal or financial exposure.
  • Serve as a key liaison with land registries, surveyors, law firms, and other professionals involved in the title perfection process to ensure the timely completion of all related tasks
  • Ensure the proper maintenance and updating of statutory records and registers in line with the requirements of the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) and other relevant regulations.
  • Prepare, file, and monitor statutory returns with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), including annual returns, changes in directorships, share allotments, and other corporate filings.
  • Review, draft, and negotiate loan agreements, collateral documents, and other legal contracts related to the bank’s mortgage operations, ensuring that all agreements align with legal and organizational standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B) and a Call to the Nigerian Bar (B.L).
