Job Title: Internal Security & Safety Associate
Location: Benin, Edo

Job Summary
- The Security & Safety associate will implement established security measures for Lily hospital Limited and will assist the Lead Internal Security in planning, directing and safeguarding of company assets, patients, employees, visitors and coordination of security, activities in assigned branch.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with corporate executives and business managers to understand corporate requirements related to security and regulatory compliance, and to map those requirements to current security projects.
- Assist to implement policies, standards and guidelines related to corporate security.
- Assist to ensure that providers carry continuous monitoring and protection of assigned facilities, personnel safety and security systems.
- Evaluate suspected security breaches and recommend corrective actions (including incidents involving outside vendors).
- Assist the Security Manager in security incident response, investigation resolution.
- Assist in conducting Security risk assessment, periodically identifying security risk, threats and vulnerabilities.
- Assist in conducting Security Awareness Training for security personnel.
- Provide regular updates regarding changes to the Corporate Security Environment to the Security Manager
- Assist in preparation of emergency management and contingency planning
- Co-ordinates the hospitals’ emergency response team and ensure regular updates of the emergency contact list.
- Continually engage with emergency responders, hold pre-drill meetings, and perform periodic emergency drills in line with yearly plan.
- Educate Staff on the requirements of the security policy and ensure compliance
- Create Staff awareness on varied security areas.
- Monitor and ensure implementation of CCTV surveillance for protected facilities.
- Carry out periodic security risk assessment for the organization
- Ensure the implementation of the Organizations search procedures and access control system.
- Conducts, supervises and prepares reports relating to internal investigations of any looses or violations of Lily Hospitals Security Policies and Procedures.
- Prepares security reports and records in line with process needs
- Implements preventive security programs, including the Supervision and monitoring of security personnel.
- Laison with public law enforcement, fire and other agencies as it relates to security of Lily Hospitals and /or Lily Hospitals personnel
- Carry out executive protection duties as may be assigned by the Security Manager.
- Perform any other duties assigned by Senior Leadership.

- Achieve zero loss incidents by ensuring full implementation of physical security measures within assigned facilities.
- Ensure that security service meets requirements on service level agreement and achieve at least 80% security satisfaction.
- Support the lead in achieving 80% implementation of plan emergency/evacuation drills, toolbox talks, develop and implement new HSE related processes.
Job Requirements
Education:
- A graduate qualification (BSc/HND)
- Certification in security management is required.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years post relevant working experience
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office tools and the internet.
Professional (Memberships/Certifications):
- Membership of ISPON or any other security institute is desirable.
