Multipro Consumer Products Limited is the largest company in Nigeria dealing in Sales, Haulage and Logistics. MCPL was founded in 1996 as a fully owned company of the Tolaram Group. The first product sold by MCPL in 1996 was Indomie and since then it has played a seminal role in making Indomie a household brand in Nigeria. MCPL over the years has grown adding 13 brands in various categories comprising of Noodle, Snacks, Milk, Cereal, Oil, Homecare and Personal Hygiene.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Human Resources Manager

Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose

  • The Human Resources Manager will leadand oversee the full spectrum of HR functions,ensuring alignment with thestrategic goals of the FMCG organization.
  • This position requires a forward-thinking leader who will drive innovation in HR processes, foster a high-performance culture, and promote an engaged, skilled, and diverse workforce.
  • The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the dynamic nature of the FMCG industry, with experience in talent management, organizational transformation, employee relations, and workforce analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with the company’s business objectives,focusing on talent acquisition, workforce planning, employee development, and engagement
  • Identify and implement innovative HR solutions to support business growth and stability in the fast-paced FMCG sector.
  • Lead the design and execution of talent acquisition strategies to attract top-tier talent across all levels, ensuring diversity and cultural fit.
  • Develop and implement retention programs, focusing on employee satisfaction, career development, and growth opportunities.
  • Oversee employer branding initiatives to position the company as a desirable workplace within the FMCG industry.
  • Design and implement performance management frameworks that drive high performance, linking individual and team performance to organizational goals.
  • Develop leadership and managerial programs to identify high-potential employees, fostering a leadership pipeline for succession planning.
  • Implement employee engagement surveys and action plans, ensuring the feedback loop leads to meaningful changes and improvements.
  • Promote a culture of inclusion and diversity, fostering a work environment that encourages diverse perspectives and innovative solutions.
  • Create a comprehensive Learning & Development (L&D) strategy that aligns with current and future business needs, fostering continuous professional growth across all levels.
  • Implement training programs that enhance technical, managerial, and leadership skills, ensuring employees are equipped to meet evolving market demands.
  • Serve as the primary contact for labor-related matters, maintaining positive relationships with unions (if applicable) and handling employee grievances.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, health and safety regulations, and industry-specific standards, implementing proactive measures to mitigate legal risks.
  • Develop and oversee competitive compensation, benefits, and rewards programs that align with market trends and company performance.

Requirements

  • Candidate must have 8 to 15 years of Experience in HR & Administration role.
  • Must have experience in FMCG and manufacturing.
  • Must have handled Unionised and contract staff of about 2000 work strength and more (400 to 500 Unionised staff & 1500 to 2000 contract staff).
  • Must have handled all audits related to HR by internal or external parties (NESRA, LAWMA, Safety , Federal and state bodies independently ).
  • Must be fully aware of ILO and Nigerian labor laws.
  • Documentation and other compliance awareness.
  • Strong personality to handle all workforce strength mentioned above.
  • Must have experience working with cross functional departments.
  • Training and development of all employees.
  • Active employee engagement.
  • Constructive mindset.
  • Good track records.
  • Relevant degrees in HR and administration (Post graduation will be given preference).

Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Nigeria

Job Purpose

  • The Account Manager will manage financial transactions, ensure accurate record-keeping, and support financial reporting in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
  • The role involves overseeing accounts payable/receivable, handling inventory accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts payable/receivable, process invoices, and reconcile balances.
  • Monitor and account forinventory levels, ensuring accurate valuation and cost control.
  • Track daily and monthlysales performanceand assist in cash flow management.
  • Assist inbudget preparationand monitor expenses against forecasts.
  • Preparefinancial statementsand reports, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Ensuretax complianceand assist withaudits.
  • Liaise with vendors and customers on financial issues.

Requirements

  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5-15 years of accounting experience, preferably in an FMCG Company.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP, QuickBooks, or any ERP system used in FMCG.
  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to handle large datasets.
  • Familiarity with the high transaction volume and complexity of the FMCG industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, ICAN) or in-progress certification.

Job Title: Sales Partner

Location: Nigeria

Core Deliverables

  • Plan and deliver the monthly sales targets for his territory.
  • Achieve availability of our products at the Distributors’ outlets.
  • Identify, create, and execute opportunities with Distributors to increase sell-in/sell-out.
  • Effectively Manage the resources allocated for Sales operations of his assigned territory.
  • Ensure optimization of team effort towards the achievement of territory objective.
  • Supervise, coach, and train his team on the job to better sell and merchandize our products.

Other Job Functions:

  • Make periodic plan for the territory with clear KPIs
  • Responsible for Distributor management and effective use of allocated resources.
  • Performance and guideent and customers for effective delivery of our products.
  • Market supervision – Price Check, Competition check, new development affecting the business, etc.
  • Provide weekly/monthly sales forecasts for the assigned territory.
  • Execute the sales and marketing plan for the territory as agreed with the Branch Manager.
  • Monitor Distributors’ turnover and stocks on a weekly basis and ensure that the various SKUs are available and that the Distributors meet their monthly targets.
  • Develop and execute action plans in case the distributor falls short on his/her monthly target.
  • Develop and execute a training plan for the team (together with the Region Training Manager).
  • Monitor the team’s performance and provide feedback to them on a regular basis.
  • Work together with the marketing team to execute and track activities in the territory.
  • Performance and guide staff assigned to his/her territory.
  • Liaising with management renowned FMCG Company requires young, resourceful, and agile Area Sales Managers for her sales operations.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of HND with 2-3 years’ experience in similar role; preferably in FMCG industry.
  • Territory Management Skills (customer/outlet mapping, call/route plan, volume planning, NND, Market Analysis).
  • Proficiency in building and maintaining strong customer relationship.
  • Must possess good analytical and computing skills.
  • Proficiency in information tracking, sales analytics, and power point presentation.
  • Decision-making and demonstrating self-confidence.
  • Ability to use smartphone and tech-savvy.
