We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Content Production Manager

Location: Nigeria

Job Summary

  • The Content Production Manager will oversee the end-to-end production of all content across platforms, ensuring quality, timeliness, and alignment with Nairametrics’ brand standards.
  • This role requires a creative, detail-oriented leader who can manage cross-functional teams and ensure efficient content delivery.
  • The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of digital content trends, audience engagement strategies, and media production processes.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Content Management:

  • Plan, organize, and oversee all content production activities to achieve quantity and quality goals.
  • Develop and implement scalable workflows for content production, ensuring alignment with Nairametrics’ business objectives.
  • Ensure all content meets audience expectations, industry trends, and brand standards.

Content Lifecycle Oversight:

  • Supervise the production process from pre-production to post-production, ensuring high standards and timely delivery.

  • Monitor and analyze content performance metrics to guide continuous improvement strategies.

Creative Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with creative teams to brainstorm, refine, and execute innovative content ideas across platforms (web, social media, video, etc.).
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive content innovation.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and support the content production team to foster a collaborative, high-performing environment.
  • Identify training needs and provide resources for team growth and development.

Budget and Resource Management:

  • Manage budgets and allocate resources effectively to meet production goals.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining content quality.

Compliance and Standardization:

  • Ensure all content adheres to Nairametrics’ brand guidelines and company standards.

Qualifications and Skills
Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Media Production, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • A master’s degree or certifications in project management or digital media is an added advantage.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of proven experience in content production management, preferably in media, finance, or business-related industries.
  • Strong leadership experience with a track record of managing cross-functional teams.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in production tools and software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
  • Familiarity with SEO, analytics tools, and content distribution strategies.

  • 8 – 10 years of operations management experience, preferably in media, technology, or financial services, with senior leadership roles.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Expertise in HR management, strategic planning, and project execution.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective relationship management.
