Job Title: Activations & Trade Marketing Specialist

Location: Nigeria 

Job Description

  • The Activations & Trade Marketing Specialist will lead brand activations across retail, nightlife, and event partnerships, building strategic relationships to enhance brand visibility. Key responsibilities include deploying POS materials, coordinating logistics and budgets, and tracking campaign performance to drive consumer engagement and sales.

Responsibilities

  • Plan,  coordinate, and execute brand activations, including partnership campaigns such as raves, bar events, retail, and market activations.
  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships with bars, nightlife venues, retail outlets, and event organizers to increase brand visibility and enhance consumer engagement.
  • Deploy point-of-sale materials (POSMs) in retail settings, ensuring optimal brand visibility and product placement.
  • Collaborate with the Project & Operations Lead to ensure activations are well-supported in terms of logistics, budget, and vendor coordination.
  • Track and report on the performance of partnership and retail campaigns, assessing engagement, consumer sentiment, and direct sales impact.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in planning and executing in-store promotions, activations, and trade marketing strategies to support sales growth.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the FMCG retail environment, with a background in collaborating with supermarkets, wholesalers, and independent retailers.
  • Skilled in managing budgets and assessing the return on investment (ROI) for marketing initiatives.
  • Proficient in merchandising, optimizing point-of-sale (POS) displays, and analyzing shopper behavior.
  • Strong analytical abilities, with experience in interpreting sales metrics and consumer insights to guide decision-making.
  • Competent in using trade marketing software, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).

Job Summary

  • The Fleet & Transport Management Lead is responsible for overseeing fleet operations, ensuring efficient, safe, and cost-effective transportation solutions.
  • This role involves strategic planning, route optimization, and fleet maintenance to meet customer expectations and maintain high standards of service quality and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Fleet Operations Management: Oversee daily fleet operations, including route planning, driver scheduling, and dispatch to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
  • Maintenance Oversight: Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for the fleet to ensure vehicles are well-maintained, safe, and compliant with all regulations.
  • Cost Management: Monitor and manage transportation costs, optimize fuel usage, and identify areas to reduce expenses while maintaining service quality.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure all fleet operations comply with safety standards and government regulations; manage driver safety training and vehicle inspections.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on key metrics such as on-time delivery rates, fleet utilization, and downtime to continuously improve performance.
  • Vendor & Supplier Relations: Manage relationships with maintenance vendors, fuel suppliers, and insurance providers to secure favorable terms and ensure service reliability.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, train, and mentor the transport and fleet team, including drivers and maintenance staff, to foster a culture of safety, accountability, and customer-focused service.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in fleet and transport management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of fleet management software and GPS tracking systems.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of safety and compliance standards.

Job Title: Key Account Manager (Modern Trade)

Locations: Abuja (FCT), Anambra and Edo

Overview

  • As the Key Account Manager for Tier 1 – Tier 3 Supermarkets, you will be directly responsible for acquiring new accounts, managing and enhancing relationships with existing supermarket chains, and ensuring the successful listing and sales of our products.
  • Your focus will be on operational excellence, delivering on joint business plans, and overseeing in-store execution to maintain high standards and achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
Account Acquisition and Management:

  • Identify potential supermarket chains for partnership and effectively secure new accounts.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing accounts, understanding their business needs and operational processes.
  • Develop and implement joint business plans that align with the supermarkets’ goals and our company’s objectives.

Sales Execution:

  • Drive the listing process for new products in supermarket chains, ensuring wide visibility and availability.
  • Coordinate with supermarkets to launch promotional campaigns that drive sales and enhance customer engagement.
  • Monitor sales performance across various stores and chains, adjusting tactics in real-time to meet sales targets.

In-store Execution Oversight:

  • Work closely with merchandising teams to ensure that our products are displayed prominently and according to agreed standards.
  • Oversee the implementation of in-store promotions and ensure that they are executed as planned, maximizing impact and visibility.
  • Regularly visit supermarket chains to audit execution, address any issues, and ensure compliance with ‘perfect store’ standards.

Cross-functional Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with brand heads and marketing to tailor promotions and marketing materials that suit each supermarket’s customer base and sales strategy.
  • Liaise with logistics to ensure timely delivery of products and resolve any supply chain issues swiftly.
  • Communicate effectively with all internal stakeholders to keep them informed of account statuses, challenges, and opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales or account management, preferably in the FMCG sector.
  • Strong operational and execution skills, with a proven ability to manage and grow key accounts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adept at building relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects and priorities effectively, with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Must posses exceptional driving skills and ability to handle all driving conditions
  • keeping tracks of general vehicle scheduled maintenance and daily vehicle cleaning.
  • Provide security for principal and ensure vehicles are secure at all times.
  • Compliance with all traffic rules and regulations
  • Proficiency with GPS navigation, mapping systems and have a strong understanding of traffic laws.
  • Perform other roles as necessary

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum of SSCE certificate
  • Minimum of 2 years experience
  • Spy driver certificate/license
  • A valid driver’s license
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent navigating skills
  • Must reside in close proximity to Maruwa, Lekki-Epe Expressway
