Job Title: Operations Manager

Location: Nigeria

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a hands-on Operations Manager with expertise in diesel and gas power solutions and a proven ability to manage and coordinate engineering projects.
  • The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and ensuring the successful execution of our services.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of facility management, power systems (diesel and gas generators), and solar installations.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and company policies.

Project Coordination:

  • Plan, execute, and monitor projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery.

Technical Expertise:

  • Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting for diesel and gas generator systems.
  • Lead maintenance and repair activities to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their requirements are met with exceptional service.
  • Address and resolve client concerns promptly and professionally.

Team Management:

  • Supervise and mentor operations staff, technicians, and project teams.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and recommend training programs to enhance team capabilities.

Resource Optimization:

  • Manage resources, including equipment, materials, and personnel, to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize operations and enhance profitability.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare operational reports and project updates for senior management.
  • Analyze performance metrics and propose improvements to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications and Requirements
Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in project management or facility management are a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management within the engineering sector, specifically with diesel and gas power solutions.
  • Proven track record in coordinating and executing engineering projects.

Technical Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of diesel and gas generator systems, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with solar energy solutions and facility management best practices.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

Job Title: Facility Officer

Location: Nigeria

Job Summary

  • The Facilities Officer will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations and maintenance of a facility.
  • He/She will ensure that the building, equipment, and systems are functioning properly, and will help maintain a safe, efficient, and pleasant environment for all occupants.
  • The Facilities Officer will assist in the execution of maintenance tasks, vendor management.

Responsibilities

  • Perform or supervise routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, repairs, and inspections of building systems (e.g. plumbing, electrical).
  • Respond to maintenance requests and resolve issues promptly.
  • Assist in ensuring that the facility complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety checks, and participate in fire drills and emergency preparedness activities.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for maintenance, repairs, and service delivery (e.g., cleaning, security, landscaping).
  • Ensure that services are provided in accordance with agreed-upon terms.
  • Help with space planning and office reconfigurations, including the management of office layouts, furniture, and equipment. Assist in moves and relocations as required.
  • Monitor and manage inventory of supplies, such as cleaning products, tools, and office equipment.
  • Ensure that stock is replenished in a timely manner.
  • Keep records of maintenance tasks, service requests, inspections, and compliance with regulations. Prepare reports on facility status and any ongoing issues

Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum of HND
  • Proven experience in a facilities-related role (e.g., maintenance, custodial services, or building operations).
  • Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures.
  • Basic understanding of health and safety regulations and environmental practices.
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with staff, contractors, and external vendors.
  • Ability to use basic office equipment and facilities management software.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time, Monday through Saturday, during regular business hours
  • May require occasional evening, weekend, or on-call work depending on the needs of the facility
  • Some physical work may be required, including lifting or carrying supplies and performing minor repairs

Salary
N180,000 – N200,000 Monthly.
